One major issue to our environment is the building of excessive plastic in our surroundings. Approximately, 8 million metric tonnes of waste plastic enters the Earth’s ocean every year.
Plastic reuse or recycle is the process of recovering scrap or waste plastic and reprocessing the material into useful products. Though challenging, reusing of non-biodegradable plastic can be done in various ways such as using of plastic bottles as pencil holders, making plant pots out of the leftovers, decoration pieces etc.
However, a person far away from the concept of ‘REUSE. REDUCE. RECYCLE’ must be made aware of the hazardous effects of plastic accumulation. Below are the actual answers of questions asked by 2 respondents;

RESPONDENT 1; WELL, IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH MAKING REUSE OF PLASTIC DOESN’T IT? LIKE USING OLD DISCARDED PLASTIC….NO I DON’T THINK I CAN REALLY THINK OF A METHOD TO REUSE PLASTIC, I’M NOT THAT CREATIVE YOU KNOW.
RESPONDENT 2; ITS ABOUT BRINGING IN USE THE OLD TRASHY PLASTIC. YEAH, WE CAN USE THE BOTTLES TO STORE WATER IN THE FRIDGE OR MAYBE PLASTIC WRAPS TO WRAP STUFF MORE THAN ONCE.
It can be thus concluded that once introduced to proper terminologies, human minds can overcome this crucial issue of plastic pollution. A lot has already been done to counter this huge build up of plastic and a lot still needs to be done, but playing with the devil that we know as ‘plastic’ has caused some serious issues within our world.
